DENVER, Colorado – May 4, 2010 – Bye Energy, Inc., an integrator of alternative energy and renewable fuel technologies for business and general aviation aircraft, has added Beyond the Edge (www.BeyondtheEdge.org) as a sponsor of The Green Flight Project (www.TheGreenFlightProject.aero).
Beyond the Edge is committed to helping bring potentially world-changing ideas and technologies quickly into practical use. The enterprise was founded by Richard F. Schaden, an aeronautical engineer, active ATP-rated pilot, businessman and internationally renowned trial lawyer.
“Aviation transportation innovation has been at a standstill and offers few efficient propulsion alternatives,” said Richard Schaden, Founder of Beyond The Edge. “When you get the right people together, such as the Bye Energy team, the impossible becomes imaginable.”
“We are honored to be supported by Beyond the Edge, a great organization committed to the advancement of transformational technologies,” said George Bye, CEO of Bye Energy.
The Green Flight Project, which launched in mid-February, is intended to enhance the development of an electric and electric-hybrid propulsion system (EHPS) for commercial application. The initial objective of the project is to design and integrate an EHPS into a full-scale proof of concept airplane.
