Bye Energy Supports Front Range Airport's 25th Anniversary Dinner
Debra Wilcox and Diane Garcia of Bye Energy attended the 25th Anniversary Celebration of Front Range Airport on August 19 at the Executive Hangar. The evening's program was moderated by Dennis Heap, Executive Director of Front Range. Travis Vallin, Director CDOT-Division of Aeronautics, was guest speaker.
Guests hosted by Bye Energy were: Bennie Milliner, Community Liaison Veterans & Military Issues Representative for Colorado U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet; Bill Holen, Constituent Services Representative for U.S. Representative Ed Perlmutter (Colorado-7th Dist.), and his wife, Debbie; Kathy Pitts, former Intern for the Colorado Governor's Energy Office; and Harold Patton, Chair of the Colorado Aeronautical Board, and his wife, Sue.
Bye Energy recently announced a collaboration with Front Range Airport to pursue several projects. The first project is a response to a Funding Opportunity Announcement Bye Energy submitted to the U.S. Department of Energy for an integrated cellulosic biorefinery pilot plant, proposed to be located at the airport.
George Bye, CEO of Bye Energy, congratulated the airport on its accomplishment. "As Front Range Airport looks to the future and the next 25, years, Bye Energy plans to enhance that future through its partnership with the airport to bring next generation biofuels to the Front Range general aviation community," he said.
