Bye Energy's The Green Flight Project to Participate In Aviation Saves Open House April 28
DENVER, Colorado – April 21, 2010 – Bye Energy, Inc. will exhibit its electric and electric-hybrid propulsion system (EHPS) concept for commercial general aviation, titled “The Green Flight Project,” at the “Aviation Saves” open house sponsored by the Colorado Aviation Business Association (CABA) April 28.
The free event, which is open to the public, will feature a variety of exhibits and displays, as well as family entertainment. The focus of “Aviation Saves” is to educate the public about the many ways in which business and general aviation contribute to the quality of life and business in Colorado. The open house will take place from 12 noon to 7 p.m. MDT at Centennial InterPort – XJet & Signature facilities at Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colo. Bye Energy, an integrator of alternative energy and renewable fuel technologies for business and general aviation aircraft, launched The Green Flight Project earlier this year to design and integrate an EHPS into a full-scale proof of concept airplane. The ultimate system architecture will include an electric motor and controller, lithium-ion battery and management system, electric energy management system, auxiliary power unit, thin film photovoltaic cells, variable pitch propeller and proprietary energy capture devices exclusive to the company.
