Bye Energy, Inc. Opens Phoenix Office

DENVER, Colorado – March 16, 2009 – Bye Energy, Inc., an integrator of clean energy solutions for aviation, announced it has opened a new office in the Phoenix area at the Arizona State University (ASU) SkySong Innovation Center in Scottsdale, Ariz.

George Bye, Founder and CEO of Bye Energy, said the Phoenix metro area is a strategic location for the company. “Given our focus on bringing clean energy to business and general aviation, we believe this location will be key in helping us analyze and test potential solutions in this ever-evolving market,” he said. “In addition, it allows us proximity to ASU, an important business partner.”

The office will be led by Scott Chesnut, Chief Marketing Officer for Bye Energy, who will focus on bringing renewable energy innovations to airports and industry facilities throughout central Arizona. Chesnut recently retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Colonel after 25 years of service. During his career, he commanded units from the local to the regional level, specializing in aviation operations. Chesnut, an ASU alumnus, is especially thrilled to be back on home turf. “It’s wonderful to come full circle in an aviation career, with the prospect of giving back to the community that gave me a great start,” Chesnut said.
