Bye Energy Inc. Awarded Grant from Wolf Aviation Fund
DENVER, Colorado - Bye Energy, Inc. received a grant from the Wolf Aviation Foundation to analyze light-weight electric motor and battery power combinations to replace traditional internal aviation gas (avgas) combustion engines on small general aviation aircraft.
The Alfred L. and Constance C. Wolf Aviation Fund was created to help individuals work together in support of general aviation. The foundation promotes and supports the advancement of personal air transportation by seeking and funding projects that advance the field of general aviation. George Bye, CEO of Bye Energy, said the grant is a critical first step in the company's electric power conversion project. "We are extremely grateful to the Wolf Aviation Foundation for their generosity and support for this project," he said. Bye Energy is collaboratively designing and developing the required energy storage devices and battery management systems with Porous Power Technologies.
